If we approach the actions of V as a serious of theatrical acts, the final cover image of Book Three showing a gloved hand pushing the dominoes down would represent the beginning of the end, or the climax of V's grand plan. The stage light shining upon the point of contact is also another symbol of the theatrical component of V's anarchist movement. The motions of the gloved hand is also one of mystery, the hand cuffs shows someone who is at least very well dressed, the visible white sleeve underneath the back suit sleeve.

Night time. The life period sunken in depression. The low points in life. The Dark can also mean evil or the absence of everything. The repetition of " we're not gonna sit in the dark anymore." In the dark, everything becomes another unrecognizable silhouette. The meaning of coming in the light then means to take action, to speak, to make on visible. The Darkness represents inaction and being a bystander. There's also the quote that the "You" tries to keep "me" from the light, "You" is the system and it is preventing the individual, in the case. The light is some kind of goal that the individual wants to achieve.
